Livermore Falls – Alton Wilkins, 83, a resident of Livermore Falls passed away Tuesday evening, May 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 7, 1938, in Livermore, the son of Earl Wilkins and Helen (Norton) Wilkins. He attended Livermore Falls High School. On September 9, 1961, at the North Livermore Baptist Church he married Cynthia Morris of North Livermore. Alton worked through the years as a self-employed logger. In his younger years he enjoyed riding his Indian motorcycle and fast cars. He also enjoyed farming and took great pride in the care of his home and property. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Wilkins of Livermore Falls, his daughter, Sheila Ervin and companion Rick Broad of Readfield, his son, Gregory Wilkins and wife Jennifer of Boardman, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, his siblings, Hersey Wilkins and wife Jeannine of Livermore Falls, Marcia Hamblin and husband Ed of Livermore and Vivian Fuller of Auburn and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Robert, Bernal, Clayton Thurlow, Orman, Barrett, Blaine, Merton and Colby Wilkins and sisters, Beryl Griffin and Claire Flagg.
