Lisbon – Arlene Annette Martin, 91, of Lisbon passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Lamp Memory Care Center in Lisbon. She was born August 24, 1931, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Marshall and Ida (Therrien) McGraw. She attended school in Livermore Falls. On November 17, 1951, in Livermore Falls she married Gerald Martin. They enjoyed 62 years together before his passing on December 10, 2013. Through the years Arlene worked for Hillcrest Chicken Factory in Lewiston, Billen Shoe in Lewiston, Miller Industries in Lisbon Falls and the Worumbo Mill in Lisbon Falls. She was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls, Sky High Adult Daycare, and Servants of the Cross. She enjoyed going to flea markets, visiting relatives in Livermore Falls, going out to eat with her daughter Carol, and speaking French. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Spickenreuther and husband Robert of Lisbon Falls and Linda Chaisson of Lewiston, 4 grandchildren Robert Paradis, Jr. and fiancée Chelsea Marquis of Lisbon, Renee Paradis of Lewiston, Rick and Stevie Chaisson of Lewiston, sisters-in-law Glennis Conant of Turner and Judy Martin of Jay, brother-in-law Hazen Hutchinson of Poland, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Gerald, son Gerald Martin, daughter Carol Paradis, son-in-law Robert Paradis, and her 8 siblings.
