Leeds – Bernice M. Boucher, 85, a resident of Leeds, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at her residence in Leeds surrounded by her loving family. Her family remembers her as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother. She was born December 3, 1936, in Rumford, the daughter of Eli Morin and Cecile Boivin. She was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford. On June 25, 1956, she married Richard C. Boucher at St. Athanasius Church in Rumford. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Bernice was a homemaker most of her life and took taking care of her family very seriously. She was loved for her special homemade chocolate cake; it was to fight for. She was very family-oriented loving each and every person with all her heart and never having a bad word to say about anyone. She loved music and played the piano beautifully. She especially loved it when her grandson Jacob played the guitar. She would shut the TV off so she could listen and dance. She is survived by her husband, Richard Boucher of Leeds, daughter; Carol (Boucher) Koris of Leeds, and son Jeffery Boucher of Hermon, 3 grandchildren, Jacob Boucher Koris, Nicholas Boucher, and Gina Boucher, sisters; Evelyn Lamond of Portland, Shirley White and Husband Gene of Windham.
