Obituary for Cynthia G. "Cindy" Righter (Hubbard)

Fayette – Cynthia “Cindy” G. Righter, 57, a resident of Fayette, passed away suddenly Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her home following recent health issues. She was born November 18, 1964, in Winter Park, Florida, the daughter of Albert Hubbard and Mary Elizabeth (Parker) Hubbard. Cindy attended school in Apopka, Florida. She would go on to become a CNA, a job she loved. She always wanted to help and take care of everyone. On December 17, 1980, she married the love of her life, Gary Righter of Fayette. She devoted her time to her husband Gary, daughter Brandy and their home. When her granddaughter Alyssa was born in 2006 and was later diagnosed with a brain tumor, Cindy selflessly stepped in to care for her, but even with all the love and support, Alyssa lost her battle in 2011, which left their family with a huge void and a very broken heart. Cindy loved everything about life and was always there for anyone who needed her. She enjoyed 4 wheeling, being outside, and spending time with her family, especially her husband, her daughter, and her grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love and kindness she shown to everyone, her beautiful laugh, and her smile that would light up any room. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Gary D. Righter of Fayette, her daughter Brandy Righter and companion Harold Brooks of Hebron, grandchildren, Liam and Aubrey Brooks, her father, Albert Hubbard of Deland, FL, sisters, Malinda Stewart and husband Frank also of Deland, FL, and Kathy Green of GA, sister-in-law, Cindy Allen of Dixfield, nieces and nephews, Amanda Loesch and Frank Stewart, Jr. of FL, Missy Green of GA, Mary Green of IL, and Arianne Flagg of Temple. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Elizabeth Hubbard, and her beloved granddaughter Alyssa Elizabeth Righter. Messages of condolence may be sent to:
