Obituary for Dianne Rose Newcomb

Jay – In a world where you can be anything “Be Kind”. Dianne Rose Newcomb, 61, of Jay went to meet her best friend, the Lord Jesus Christ, Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 12, 1960, in Lewiston, the daughter of Earl Eugene Newcomb and Anna Marie (Tobin) Newcomb. She attended school in Livermore Falls. Throughout the years, Dianne worked as a certified nursing assistant at the local nursing homes. One of her most joyous days was the day she had her beloved son Tobin. He was the center of her world. Other memories precious to her were times spent with her family and her many close friends. Dianne had a love for life and enjoyed so many things…trips to the ocean, swimming in the waves, no matter what the temperature. Walking the beach looking for treasures. Daily walks with friends, or alone seeking peace. Family, loyal friendships and giving of herself no matter what she had or how she felt. Sending cards or writing letters for all occasions or just any day to spread her love and sunshine and always making sure her feathered friends were fed. She is survived by her grandson, Noah John Fournier of AZ, he was her pride and joy with whom she had many great adventures with. Her siblings, Mae Parlin and companion Bruce Howe of Oswego, NY, Richard Newcomb and wife Carla of Fairfield and Teri Allen and husband Dave of Belgrade, sister-in-law, Paulette Newcomb of Livermore Falls; nieces, Leah Hayford and husband Steve, Sarah Knapp and husband Sport, and Emily Allen and Ben, Chloe Allen and fiancé Sam Bessey and Heidi Allen; great-nieces, Abby Hayford and husband Dave Austin, Brandi Knapp, Elana and Izzy Allen, great-great niece, Harper Austin, nephews, Matthew Newcomb, Duncan Allen, David Allen III and wife Ruth, great-nephews, Levi Knapp, Cole Hayford, Alex and Noah Brochu, great-great nephews, Oliver Austin and Archer Brochu.
