Readfield – Duncan R. Allen, 32, a resident of Belgrade, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Readfield. He was born January 21, 1990, in Caribou, the son of David H. Jr. and Teri L. (Newcomb) Allen and was a 2008 Graduate of Maranacook High School. He worked as a musician and farmer and enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and having jam sessions with his friends and family. Duncan was a founding member of the Fules Gold band, and it was through his great passion for music that he brought joy to so many people. He also enjoyed snowboarding, skateboarding, hiking, swimming, going to the ocean, and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was a free spirit with a big heart and always made his presence known through his undying humor and love of life. Duncan is survived by his parents Teri and David Allen, Jr. of Belgrade, his brother David Allen, III and Ruth of Appleton, his sisters; Heidi Allen of Augusta, Emily Allen and Ben of Chelsea, Chloe Allen and Sam of Belgrade, his nieces and nephews; Elana and Izzy Allen, Alex and Noah Brochu, Elijah Ruby, his great nephew Archer Brochu, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ann and Earl Newcomb and Birdena and David Allen, Sr., his aunt Dianne Newcomb, his uncle John Newcomb, and his cousin Tobin Fournier. Allen – Duncan R., 32, of Belgrade, Maine passed away August 17, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held from 10AM-11AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at a later date.
