Francis Fuller, 96, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2023.
Francis was born on March 17, 1927, to Raymond and Hilda (Pike) Fuller in Jay, ME. After graduating from Livermore Falls High School in 1944, he served as a radio repairman in the U.S. Army. He went on to study Electrical Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
After graduation, Francis worked as an engineer for RCA in New Jersey where he met and married Margaret Gorman in 1957. They went on to have three children, James, Elaine, and Thomas. He was a devoted father and grandfather.
Francis had a successful career as an electrical engineer, including owning and operating Applied Microwave Laboratory from 1961-1970.
Francis had a great love of the outdoors, antique radios, and history. After retirement, he spent his time repairing radios, doing genealogical research, and puttering in the garden.
Francis is predeceased by his parents, his wife Margaret, and his brothers, Norman and Alfred. He is survived by his brother Melvin (Barbara) Fuller and sister Joyce (Emile) Richard; his three children, James (Wanda) Fuller, Elaine (Mark) Roblez, and Thomas (Kathleen) Fuller; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Francis and Margaret at Moose Hill Cemetery, 30 Record Rd., Livermore Falls, ME 04254 on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00AM.
