Livermore – Frank M. “Frankie” Stone, 84, a resident of Livermore, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after a long 4-year battle with cancer, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born August 2, 1938, in Rumford, the son of Willard and Jennie (Newell) Stone. He was a graduate of Dixfield High School. On August 29, 1997, he married Debra Jordan of Connecticut. He worked as a supervisor for 30 years at Magnatech LLC in Connecticut before retiring. After retirement Frankie and Debra moved to Maine and he worked for Franklin Memorial Hospital for 10 years handling inventory and supplies. Frankie loved sports, if it was on the sports channel, he was watching it. He especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and NASCAR. Frankie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debra Stone of Livermore, son Lincoln Stone of Dixfield, daughter Batina Cunningham and husband John of Bangor, stepson Michael Witkos of Conneticut, and brother Fred Stone and wife Doris of Rumford. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Cynthia Stone Gross, brothers Arthur and Alton Stone, sister Donna Sproul, and brother-in-law Robert Sproul.
