Obituary for Gary P. Boucher

Sabattus – Gary P. Boucher, 69, of Sabattus, passed away Wednesday, April 12th at his home following several years of declining health. He was born March 24, 1954 in Bath, the son of Leonard and Marion (Corliss) Boucher. He attended school in the Bath/Brunswick school systems. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed baseball and having his Uncle Dan as his coach. Following high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Army. He loved racing, NASCAR, and circle track. Gary worked as an automotive mechanic throughout the years, he built stock cars, and served as pit crew chief while doing the Busch Tour with Judy in 1987. On September 20, 1987 at Winslow Park in Freeport, he married his wife of 35 years, Judith Richard of Monmouth. He loved the ocean and going to Popham Beach, camping, his dog Roxie and especially the time he spent with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Judith Boucher of Sabattus, brother-in-law, Blaine and Sue Richard of Litchfield, nephews and nieces, Shawn and wife Rebecca, Justin and wife Marie, Bobby, Liz, Katie, David, Chelsé, Nick, Tiffany, Elissa, Robert, and Rachel, as well as many other loved ones.
