Obituary for Gaylene A. Rich

Farmington – Gaylene A. Rich, 69, of Livermore passed away tragically Wednesday, July 20th as a result of a car accident. She was born in Farmington to Gilbert and Evelyn (Wills) Savage on January 24, 1953. She was a 1972 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On May 22, 1990 she married Alan Rich of Livermore. Gaylene worked at Carlton Woolen Mill in Winthrop for 25 years. She also worked as a CNA at Parkview Nursing Home and Victoria Villa Nursing Home until her retirement. She was a member V.F.W. Post #3335 Auxiliary, and a former member of United Bikers of Maine. She loved playing beano every Sunday at the AMVETS in Jay with her family and friends. She enjoyed doing puzzle books, jigsaw puzzles, and playing cribbage. She was seldom seen without a warm smile. Cherished by her husband for her thoughtful ways, very giving, she would do anything for anyone. She will be remembered as an angel on Earth as a woman with a very positive and uplifting spirit, someone who would light up the room when she entered. Survivors include her husband Alan Rich of Livermore, her son, Chris Golden and his wife April of Wilton, her daughter Tracy Parlin of Strong, stepson, Jeremy Rich and his wife Vickie of Wayne, 6 grandchildren, sisters, Patricia Lee and husband Clayton of Livermore, Mary Lee and husband Sonny of Leeds, and Priscilla Savage of Livermore Falls, and her brother Linwood Savage and wife Janet of Livermore. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Monday, July 25th at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM prior to the funeral service. Interment Pleasant View Cemetery, 51 Fayette Road, Livermore Falls, Maine.
