Livermore Falls – Geraldine “Geri” L. Lufkin, 96, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at her home, in the same bed her husband had passed in 17 years prior, with her son by her side. She was born March 11, 1926, in Jay, the daughter of Harry A. and Dorothy (Millett) Lothrop. She was a graduate of Wilton Academy and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. On September 25, 1954, in Wilton, she married William “Bill” T. Lufkin. They were married for 50 years before his passing in 2005. Geri worked as an Obstetrician (OB) Nurse at Farmington Hospital. She enjoyed quilting and made beautiful quilts. Geri also enjoyed volunteering for local blood drives. She is survived by her son, John Lufkin of Livermore Falls, her nieces, Cynthia Bertocci and Judith Stanhope, her nephews, Jerome Stanhope and wife Ginny Bea and Dennis Stanhope, 2 grandnephews, and a grandniece. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Bill, her sister Rosalthe Stanhope, her brother-in-law, Joseph Stanhope, and her sisters-in-law, Martha Lufkin and Elizabeth Lufkin.
