Lewiston – Janis Pelletier, 73, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at D’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. She was born February 3, 1949, in Lewiston, the daughter of Clemont Mario Pelletier and Annette (Blais) Pelletier. She graduated from Lewiston High School. Through the years Janis worked at Montello Manor as a CNA, and in retail at Wal-Mart for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Jay- Livermore Falls Senior Citizens, Buttons for Babies, the Jay-Livermore Falls Lions Club, and enjoyed dinners at V.F.W. in Jay. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting as many books as she could. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her cousins Jerry Costello and wife Sharon of Mt. Vernon, Donna Greeley of Jay, and Tina Perreault and husband Tim of Jay, as well as many other cousins, and her Uncle Roger Costello of Jay. She was predeceased by her parents.
