Leeds – Joseph A. Eason, 63, a resident of Leeds, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at his home, with his loving family by his side. He was born March 30, 1959, in Motoshi, Ibaragiken, Japan, the son of Woodrow and Faye Eason. He attended Carlsbad High School in California. On August 23, 1982, in Carlsbad, California, he married Sue Grigsby of Carlsbad. They resided in Carlsbad for 32 years before moving to Maine in January 2014. Joe traveled nationwide with the fair circuit as a pitchman, demonstrating and selling various products for many years. While residing in Maine he was employed by O’Reilly Auto Parts as a delivery driver, until he was diagnosed with cancer. He met a lot of great people while out and about and on the road and was loved by those he met. Joe enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping, playing his guitar, music, history, martial arts, and spending as much time as possible with his great granddaughter, Aubriayna, who he affectionately called Banana. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue Eason, his daughter Misty Caldwell, his bonus daughter Rebecca Robison, his mother Faye Eason, his siblings and their spouses, Kathy, Mike, Valerie, Tom & Yudi, and Steve & Barbara, his nephews Aaron, Brian, and Ryan, his niece Alyssa, his grandsons, Darius Ferguson and Keenan Caldwell, and his two great-grandchildren, Aubriayna Kim Caldwell and Kayden Dane Caldwell.
