Winthrop- Lucas M. Caron, 31, a resident of Winthrop formerly of Livermore Falls, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at his residence. He was born December 18, 1990, in Augusta, the son of Paul Caron, Sr. and Tamara (Starbird) Caron. Lucas attended Livermore Falls schools growing up and was known for his mischievous smile and innocent demeanor. He worked in construction and carpentry and was an exceptional painter. Lucas was a “heebie-ficken-jack-of-all-trades.” He enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his family and looking at the stars. He spent many hours watching documentaries and found solace in music; often caught listening to Eminem and Pink Floyd. He was an “old soul” and led with compassion and love. Sadly, his battle with addiction ended his life much too soon. If there is someone in your life battling addiction, reach out to them. Too many lives are lost every day and the stigma of embarrassment, denial and shame must be overcome. Let us remember Lucas for who he truly was, a fun-loving and fearless individual with a heart of gold. He is survived by his grandmother, Rebecca Prestridge, his father, Paul Caron Sr., sister Rebecca Mayo and partner Brandon Mayo, brother Paul Caron Jr. and partner Kaylee Hanson, brother Sean Caron and partner Leonard Tan, brother Kristopher Caron and partner Bre Buck, and sister Nicole Caron and partner Therese Wilbur, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
