Auburn – It is with great sadness that the family of Madeleine E. Poulin, announces her death on March 5, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born in Chisholm on April 1, 1933, to parents, Eulalie (Pelletier) and Alphonse Raymond. She grew up in Chisholm and graduated from Jay High School. She was most recently a resident of Odd Fellows and Rebekah’s Home in Auburn, until her death. Madeleine was married to Marcel J. Poulin in 1960 and went on to raise seven successful children.
Madeleine was a devout Roman Catholic, attending St. Rose of Lima Church. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and mémére who will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her seven children, Marcia Clevesy and husband Michael of Andover, MA, Mary Betts and husband David of Kents Hill, Marissa Paradis and husband Marc of Livermore Falls, Martina Eldridge and husband Hank of Arundel, Marcel Poulin and wife Claudia of Las Vegas, NV, Marcus Poulin and wife Lori of Richland Center, WI, and Charles Poulin of Auburn along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Madeleine is also survived by her siblings Joseph and Louise. She is predeceased by her devoted husband Marcel of 47 years until his death in 2007, her grandson Nathaniel, and siblings Rosalie, Betty, Alma, Arthur, Rene, and Burt. Poulin – Madeleine E., 88, formerly of Jay, Maine passed away March 5, 2022, in Auburn, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at St. Rose of Lima, 1 Church Street, Jay, Maine. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 12:45PM, prior to the Mass at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Interment will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
