Indianapolis – Michael D. Edmondson, age 49, a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on January 13, 2023, in Hartford, Maine. Michael was born February 23, 1973, in Beech Grove Indiana, the son of Russell Edmondson and Elaine (Porter) Witherbee. He was a 1991 graduate of Park Tudor High School and later graduated from Indiana University in 1995 with a triple major in Economics, Political Science, and History. On October 13, 2001, in Indianapolis he married his wife of 21 years, Katie Jo Baugh. Michael worked as an Independent Medicaid Management Consultant since 2009. He enjoyed all things IU (Indiana University), especially IU basketball. He was also a fan of the Colts and Pacers. He grew up going to Bear Pond every summer to spend time with family and, because of that his dream was to own his own camp someday. He was so proud to have achieved that dream in 2019. He really enjoyed the time he spent in Maine. He is survived by his wife Katie Jo Edmondson, their two children Ellie Rose Edmondson and Maxwell Porter Edmondson, his father Russell Edmondson and wife Patty all of Indianapolis, IN, his stepfather Gary Witherbee, sister Kristin Brown and husband Matt of Fishers, IN, sister-in-law Jennifer Witherbee of Carmel, IN, along with several nieces and nephews.
