Obituary for Natalie Irene "Nat" Marshall (Tribou)

Minot – Natalie Irene Marshall, 87, went home to be with her Lord on July 10, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Minot.
Natalie was born on April 22, 1935, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of the late Bryant B. Tribou Sr. and the late Irene (Berry) Tribou. From early childhood, she grew up in East Auburn. On September 12, 1954, she married Roger Marshall at East Auburn Baptist Church. They were married for 60 years and 3 months before his passing. They made their home in East Auburn for 35 years and spent 25 years on Bear Pond in Hartford, Maine, where they had many wonderful times.
She attended local schools and was a 1953 graduate of Edward Little High School where she was a cheerleader and participated in many sports. On Bear Pond she was waterskiing into her sixties. She loved kayaking, fishing, ice skating, horseback riding, and crafts.
Nat was a member of the East Auburn Baptist Church and was next to the longest living member when she passed. She received the Lord as her Savior in 1959. At church she served as a Pioneer Girl leader and a Sunday School teacher for many years. Natalie loved the Lord and served as a Bible Study teacher for the Hartford Community Church Women’s Group. For 10 years she volunteered at Central Maine Medical Center, and in 1983 she was recognized as Lewiston/Auburn’s Outstanding Volunteer. She was a member of the Oxford County Extension Home Makers (Canton) and the Bear Pond Improvement Association.
Her most cherished times were with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her many friends. She loved them all dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Roger in 2014, her brother Bryant B. Tribou, Jr. and her daughter-in-law Dorothy Marshall. She is survived by her son Michael Marshall and wife Nancy, her daughter Linda Mitchell and husband Michael, her grandchildren, Jason Marshall and wife Kaleena, Jen Swisher and husband Jake, Tracey Vining and husband Justin, Kevin Mitchell, and Shawn Mitchell and wife Sarah, and her great grandchildren, Kendall Swisher, Elias Marshall, Zadok Marshall, Adelaide Marshall, Josephine Marshall, Daisy Vining, and Jayna Vining.
