Lewiston – Perley William Robinson, 81, a resident of Turner, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. He was born on June 11, 1940, in West Paris, the son of Perley C. and Mary F. (Estes) Robinson. Perley was a 1958 graduate of West Paris High School in West Paris, Maine. After high school he served in the US Army as a Helicopter Mechanic in the Korean War. On July 27, 1968, in Strong, he married Sandra L. Gordon of Strong. They were married for 48 years before her passing in 2016. Perley worked as a Millwright in the Maintenance Department at I.P. Androscoggin Mill in Jay, Maine. He was a member of the Winthrop American Legion, VFW Post #3335 in Jay, Local #14, the ¼ Century Club, and the Jay, Livermore Falls Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going to the casinos, socializing, and working in his shop enjoying a cold beer. He is survived by his sons, Rick Robinson of Scarborough and Ronald Robinson and wife Sally of Florida, 6 grandchildren, Amber Goyette and husband Andrew of York, Christina Robinson, Jaimie Kowaleski and husband Matthew, Evan Robinson and wife Danielle all of New York, Ashley Adams and husband Robert of Winthrop, and Audrey Dudley or Auburn, 10 great-grandchildren, Colton, Olive, Violet, Chase, Weston, Hunter, Brody, Jaxon, Annabelle, and Abigail, his former daughter-in-law, Jackie Marshall and husband Gardner of Cape Neddick, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Sandra, his sister, Louise Kangas, his brother-in-law, Arthur Kangas, and his granddaughter, Nicole Robinson.
