Lewiston – Peter G. Lavoie, 66, a resident of Leeds, passed away Monday, January 31st at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston following a brief illness. He was born April 8, 1955 in Rumford, the son of Gerald A. Lavoie and Laurette M. (Theriault) Lavoie. He was a 1973 graduate of Mountain Valley High School. On December 13, 1988 in Portland he married his wife of 33 years Norma L. Primevara. Through the years Peter worked as a cable television technician and at Hillandale Farms in Turner. He enjoyed snowshoeing, RC Cars, ATVing, gardening, flowers and an all-around outdoors person. He is survived by his wife Norma Lavoie of Leeds, his son, William F.P. Lavoie and fiancée, Coralee Hood of Leeds, daughter, Donna Chamberlain and fiancé Dan of Biddeford, grandchildren, Zachary Lavoie, Kaylee Lavoie, Dakota Hood, and Taylor Tozier, great-grandchildren, Cayden Bronish, Hadley and Braelyn Tozier, also many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Lavoie – Peter G., 66, of Leeds, Maine passed away January 31, 2022 in Lewiston, Maine. Funeral services will be held 6 PM, Wednesday, February 9th at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
