Turner - Rene E. Cloutier, 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Turner on March 25, 2023. He was surrounded with love from his family and friends after a long day of goodbyes. Rene was born on March 18, 1957 in Farmington to Yvette (Desjardins) and Flavian Cloutier. He grew up in Livermore Falls and resided in Livermore Falls and Jay for many years. Rene was always active in the community. He was a member of the Livermore Falls Fire Department for over 30 years and retired as lieutenant. He spent many years volunteering at Spruce Mountain Ski Slope throughout his children’s time in the ski program and through his grandchildren’s activity at the mountain. Rene enjoyed camping, fishing from his boat, hunting, playing horseshoes, sitting by the fire, playing cards, and playing with his grandchildren. He truly enjoyed to make people laugh and did so with ease. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara (Forbes), his son Ryan and wife Danielle, his daughter Ranae L’Italien and husband Matt, and his grandchildren of whom he was the most proud: Isabelle L’Italien, Eris Cloutier, Acadia Cloutier, Silas L’Italien, Odin Cloutier and Izsak Cloutier. Cloutier – Rene E., 66, of Turner, Maine passed away March 25, 2023. Memorial Services will be held 2PM, Friday, March 31st at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM prior to the funeral service. Interment at a later date at Jay Hill Cemetery, Jay, Maine.
