Obituary for Ronald R. "Ron" LeBlanc

Farmington – Ronald R. LeBlanc, 72, a resident of Fayette, passed away early Sunday morning, August 21, 2022, at Sandy River Center in Farmington, following a short illness. He was born August 7, 1950, in Farmington, the son of Roger J. LeBlanc and Marie (Gallant) LeBlanc. Ron was a graduate of Jay High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam Era. He worked as a pipefitter for International Paper Company Androscoggin Mill in Jay and at Bath Iron Works in Bath. He retired from Verso Paper Mill in Jay. He was a member of the International Paper Company Quarter Century Club, the Knights of Columbus in Jay, Lane-Dube AMVETS Post #33 in Jay, and the VFW Frank L. Mitchell Post #3335 in Jay. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, playing the drums, eating out at the Chuck Wagon, and had a passion for helping others. He is survived by his daughter, Aimee L. LeBlanc of Livermore Falls, sisters, Joan Gosselin of Farmington, Anne LeBlanc of Wilton and Carol Vienneau and husband Jeff of New York, his brother Michael LeBlanc of Wilton, sister-in-law, Deborah LeBlanc of Vermont, and several nieces and nephews.
