Auburn – Rosemary A. Levesque, 74, a resident of Jay, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn. She was born May 26, 1948, in Farmington the daughter of George A. Newcomb, Sr. and Violet (Dill) Newcomb. She was a 1966 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. She married Paul Levesque on November 16, 1972, in Livermore Falls. They were married for almost 42 years before his passing on August 25, 2014. Through the years she worked at Livermore Falls Shoe and the Chuck Wagon. She truly loved playing cards, it didn’t matter what game or when she was always up for a game. She truly enjoyed her flower garden. Rosemary never missed a single family gathering. She is survived by her daughters, Tracey Vogelsang of Jay and Lisa Allen of Kansas, her grandchild Kassie, brothers; George “Sonny” Newcomb, Jr. and wife Trish of Livermore Falls, Victor Butterfield of Jay, Jimmy Newcomb of Livermore Falls, and Jeff Newcomb and wife Betsy of Livermore Falls, sisters; Lauri Laskey and husband Dave of Thompson, Annmarie Richard and husband Steve of Jay, Peggy Hansen of Jay, and Suelene Houser of Cranston, Rhode Island, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, September 9, 2022, at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1 Church Street, Jay, Maine.
