Obituary for Sally J. Bryant (Touchette)

Lewiston – Sally J. Bryant, 73, a resident of Canton, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born December 17, 1948, in Rumford, the daughter of Peter and Thelma (Ladd) Touchette. She was a graduate of Dirigo High School. On August 13, 1965, in Livermore, she married the love of her life, Robert K. Bryant. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Sally was one of the first volunteers at the Dempsey Center in Lewiston and volunteered there for 20 years. She had a passion for sewing and made port protectors and heart comfort pillows for the Dempsey Center. She was a member of the Grammies Choice Quilting Club in Canton. She made many quilts for her family over the years. She also enjoyed going to the ocean. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bryant of Canton, son, Richard Bryant and significant other Julie Bradstreet of China, daughter, Kathy E. Landry and husband Rick of Jay, 5 grandchildren, Steven, Ben, and Casey Landry, and Peter and Jackson Bryant, a great-grandson, Daxton Bryant, and her loving dog Maggie Mae. Bryant – Sally J., 73, a resident of Canton, Maine passed away December 20, 2021, in Lewiston, Maine. A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Monday, December 27, 2021, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held from 1PM-2PM prior to the service. Interment in the spring at Farrington-Morton Cemetery, River Road, Mexico, Maine.
