Farmington – Terry L. (Spydell) White, 75, of Jay, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Sandy River Nursing Home in Farmington. Terry was born on December 9, 1946, in Rumford, the daughter of Raymond and Glenise (Dalessandro) Spydell. She attended school in Rumford and was a graduate of Stevens High School. On January 21, 1967, she married Delance White. She was a waitress at several restaurants over the years starting as a teen at Glenn’s restaurant for her gram. Chuck Wagon, Goodwins, Mad Mamma’s to name a few. She was a bus driver/custodian at Jay School Dept. for 17 years. The kids on her bus were “her kids” and she dressed up for every holiday and gave out bags of candy. She was all about her family and attended all the grandkids and great- grandkids activities. Her passion in life was traveling. She has been all over the U.S. and to many other countries. Didn’t matter who was going or where, Terry was ready to go. From trips with Delance, her daughters, with friends or even the grandkids, so many memories were made. No matter where she went, she made friends, even going up the chairlift skiing as a “single”. She never judged anyone and “adopted” many kids over the years, including several exchange students. Even at Sandy River everyone from the nursing staff, laundry, and kitchen, they all knew and loved her. Her big smile and bubbly personality will be dearly missed. Terry is survived by her husband of 55 years, Delance White of Jay, daughters Tanya and Mario DeMillo of Jay, Tracy and Alan Levesque of Biddeford, Tricia and Brian Roy of Rangeley, 6 grandchildren, Brandon (Danielle), Kaylie (David) and Jordan DeMillo, Brady and Nicole Therrien, and Andre Roy, 9 great-grandchildren Brian David and his Mom Mindy, Bradley, Brooklynn, Ariya, Jaxson, Jacksyn, Lexie, Delia and Benjamin, her sister Becky Spydell and brother Ted Spydell and wife Vicki and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 1PM, prior to the service. Interment will be held at a later date at Pleasant View Cemetery, 51 Fayette Road, Livermore Falls, Maine.
