Obituary for Virginia F. Curtis (Mason)

Leeds – Virginia F. Curtis, 79, a resident of Leeds, passed away on Friday, April 15th at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was born December 31, 1942, in Bethel, Maine, the daughter of Alfred C. Mason and Bernice L. (Tibbets) Mason. She was educated in the Monmouth schools and graduated from Monmouth Academy. On June 10, 1962 in Leeds, she married Robert L Curtis. Mr. Curtis passed away in February of 1982. Virginia worked as a cook at Leeds Central School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her family will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her children; Robert L. Curtis Jr., of Leeds, Michael J. Curtis of Turner, Lori-Ann Milbert of Leeds and David R. Curtis also of Leeds, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, Eleanor Flanders of S. Paris, Shirley Bittatti of Dover, NH and Patricia Green of Greene, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert L.
