Farmington – Walter E. Ward, Jr., of Livermore Falls passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at Sandy River Center in Farmington. He was born on July 20, 1941, in Livermore Falls, Maine, the son of the late Walter Ward, Sr. and Hilda (Norris) Ward. Early on, he worked in many shoe shops in Lewiston, Auburn, and Wilton. He was also a car dealer and businessman most of his life. Most recently he worked for K & R Auto in Auburn, Maine, until he suffered a debilitating stroke in 2020. He is survived by his sons Scott, Jamie and wife Angela, Jason, Chuck and partner Kathy, his daughter Lisa, his grandchildren Amy, Ashley, Colin, Nicholas, Josh, Cassidy, Kassia and Brayden, his brothers, Raymond and wife Ceneretta, Dave, Keith & partner Prudy and Kenneth Ward, his sister Belinda Poland and husband Wes, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his former wife Glennis. He was predeceased by his parents, infant sons, Darren and James in the early 70’s, his brother Kevin, his sister Eleanor, his sister-in-law Paula, and his beloved wife of 40 years, Karlene Ward.
