Farmington – William A. Spiller, “Eagle Bear”, 69, a resident of Wilton, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, with his loving family by his side. He was born March 21, 1953, in Chiba, Japan, the son of Rodney Spiller and Suzuko (Hiraoko) LaPlante. He was a 1971 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Through the years Bill worked at Livermore Falls Bakery, the Maine State Bookmobile, Bob Adams Logging, Jerry Hutchinson Construction, International Paper Company and Verso Paper in Jay. During his time at the paper mill he worked as a truck driver in the yard crew, pulp mill clerk and large fork truck driver. Bill was a member of the Oriental Star # 21 Masonic Lodge, Local 14 U.P.I.U., the International Paper and Quarter Century Club. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing up north with his brother-in-law, Terry, hunting with his best friend Jerry, traveling with Libby and attending ceremonies for the Medicine Hoop of Life and socializing at Tucks. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica “CaCa” St. Laurent and his favorite son-in-law, Josh of Livermore, his mother, Suzuko LaPlante of Livermore Falls, grandson, Mason St. Laurent of Livermore, granddaughter, Vanessa Burnham and Deven of Harrison, great-granddaughters, Maci and Mazie Burnham of Harrison, his sisters, Joyce Bryant and husband Terry of West Ossipee, NH, and Chrystal Tripp and husband, Mike of Livermore Falls. He was predeceased by his father, Rodney Spiller, his aunt, Audrey Stimson, uncle, Rudy Spiller, grandparents, Leona and Aubrey Spiller and his first love, Juanita Losey.
