Augusta – Yvonne A. Adams, 62, a resident of Livermore, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 25th at MaineGeneral Medical Center after complications from chemotherapy. She was surrounded by family at the time. She was born May 27th, 1960, and the daughter of Robert Grundy and Yvonne Putnam Grundy. She was the youngest among her 24 brothers and sisters (yes, that is correct). She was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School and worked at OTIS Federal Credit Union, in Jay, for over 20 years and was also a tax preparer for many years. On May 3rd, 1980, she married the love of her life, Mark Adams, and the two were together for 36 years until his unexpected passing in 2016. Yvonne enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, biking, kayaking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. She was an extremely private person who never wanted to trouble anyone, yet incredibly generous, kind, and caring to those around her. She was greatly loved by so many in her life and will be forever missed. Yvonne is survived by her two sons: Keith Grundy of Farmington and Nicholas Adams of Portland; her three grandchildren: Courtney, Britney, and Lynk; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
